Clinton says Hillary has chance because of small-town folk
Former President Bill Clinton says his wife is the presidential candidate best suited to bring troops back from Iraq and rebuild the country's military strength.
Clinton spoke Friday afternoon at a high school gymnasium in Somerset. It was his third campaign stop of the day after appearances at Robert Morris University near Pittsburgh and at a skating rink in Connellsville. He is also scheduled to visit Fort Washington, Lansdale and Philadelphia.
Clinton says Hillary Rodham Clinton is in the race and has a "real chance to win" thanks to supporters in small towns and rural counties, such as those in western Pennsylvania.
He says his wife is more qualified to be president than he was when he was elected in 1992.
